To address the needs of customers who opened FNB Share Investing accounts but closed them shortly after without trading. Feedback from these customers indicated a desire for investment options that catered to smaller amounts, required less time for research, and allowed for fixed monthly investments managed by the bank. FNB Share Investing did not offer a product that met these specific customer needs.
The launch of the FNB Share Saver product, enabling clients to establish a scheduled instruction to purchase shares during the account opening process. This feature allows FNB to invest in RMB TOP 40 and RMB MID CAP shares, providing diversification for the client's portfolio. Clients can perform account enquiries, view share information, manually buy and sell RMB TOP 40 and RMB MID CAP shares, and cancel any orders placed. Additionally, they have the flexibility to modify, suspend, or reactivate their scheduled instruction.
